Check your regulation to ensure a scope can be used on ML during the hunting season first off. If so by all means BUT I would try shooting it some to getthe apprehension off your mind and make sure this is something you want to invest more into. I have little doubt you'll love it once you get shooting and see some results. I know very few who don't fall addicted tothe ML bugbut just in case. Here I can use a scope and both of my inlines ML (Knight Disc and Rem 700 MLS) are scoped. They do make a difference IMO as far as obtaining optimum accuracy(especially at further distances)but aren't required either to harvest game!
