Default RE: Question on hunting ethics

ORIGINAL: BowHuntingFool

I guess I have a different view on this! I hunt with people that share hunting spots instead of hiding them! I my self would rather have a friend or family member hunt in my area than a total stranger! But I really don't care if someone hunts in a tree I hunt. More power to them. I like to see others be successful! I have made alot of friends on public land and we now hunt together! My father taught me to enjoy the hunt no matter the outcome and share the experience! The guys I hunt with spend all year preparing their land as I do mine, they enjoy for my son and myself to hunt their stands! On public land as well! I guess I don't see the point in hiding your hunting spot especially on public land, you can only hunt one stand at a time! If someone wants to hunt your tree you must of done your homework! I also take pride in that! I try to treat others like the way I would like to be treated! JMO!
What really ticked me off was the guy saying I moved in on them. When you look at really what heppend they moved in on me. I was happy for the guy when he got the deer. After I though about what happened I did realize and still think that was crappy. Yes its public land but their is common courtesy and they didn't use it. To me it would have been differant if I didn't know them, but the fact that they new me and didn't have the courtesy to ask me just shows what type of people they are.
