If you have a synthetic stock on your Remington shotgun, you can get a Remington R3 recoil pad, its made by Simms. I changed out my wooden stock for a composite one, then got the recoil pad for it. Makes patterning for turkeys a lot less painful. I think I read that they started making them for wooden stocks too, without having to grind them or getting the slip on, but I haven't checked that out yet.
