Default RE: what do you do?

When I was younger I would always hunt with my cousin, uncle or on occasion I would take a friend. We never really were close to each other though when actually hunting. For years now 95% of my hunting I have hunted alone, I actually prefer it that way. This all started to change last year when my twins at the age of 9 decided they wanted to learn how to hunt. One at a time I have taken them with me during gun season and they did very well. I love my new partners, my most memorable experience with one of them was leaving our stand after dark. Just as we hit the ground we heard a buck grunt, I motioned for her to be quiet, the wind was blowing from the buck to us so I did not want him to know what we were and get busted so I grunted back to him and then motioned for her to trot beside me away from him for about 10-15 quick steps. Then we stopped, he grunted again, only closer, again we did the same thing, grunted and he grunted back, we continued this for over 100 yards until we hit the edge of the field that my truck was parked across from. Once we hit the field we high tailed it to my truck. When we got into the truck and closed the doors, the look on her face was priceless, she said "Dad we were talking to that deer!" The best hunting partner in the world is one of your kids or your parent!!!!!
