RE: What are the pros and cons of the 300wsm?
I love my .300WSM --- I've shot a .30-06 for 25 years, and sometimes shoot a .30-30 too, but for hunting fields where you may have a shot over 300 yards, that .300 is bad news. It doesn't kick all that worse than my .30-06, and it's dumped every deer I've shot in their tracks. It's accurate, and hits like a ton of bricks.
Yes the ammo is a little more expensive, but to me it's worth it. Other than that, I can't think of a single "con".
