Default RE: SECOND THOUGHTS

I agree first come first serve but on public land anything goes sort to speak. I have had cases whereI was setup only to have Joe Smith come walking along and then set up in close quarters to my position. Every time such an event has happenedI immediately get up and chat with the Joe. First he has the same rights as me to be their but I think it is common hunter ethics to abide by early bird gets the worm mentality. Unfortunately not everyone goes by this mentality. If he is not budging I move along, as no deer is worth it for me to be in a unsafe situation and I figure a guy with such prowess to setup by a hunter who was their first wouldn't really think safety first when a deer showed. Just like you found their are always other places and sometimes they are greener!

BTW hunting private lands can also be bad. I had an idiot come driving out on hay field which is clearly posted and then pretend like I was the offender of the signs when I confronted him. This was right prior to legal and every animal that was in front of me was rushed off to the nearby bush. Ruined my hunt that day. Simply put some guys are complete boneheads and couldn't care less about those around them...personally I remove myself from such SLOBS.
