I shot PSE's since the early 70s. They're a great bow, but the real deal is the company. Their customer service has long been recognized(even by their competitors) as THE BEST. The do make a wide variety of bows in a wide variety of price ranges. Even so, they appear to be well made from top to bottom. I bought a Darton the last time I bought a bow. I guess I was just ready for a change. No real reason,... I just did it. I still have a couple of my old PSE's and use one as my back up. It's tuned and practiced with and ready to go. It's a killing machine. I've been into bows for 35 years. A crossbow isn't what I call a bow so I don't have any experience with them. I've hunted with people that use them. That's a choice you have to make.
