i own the marlin bull barrell bolt action 17hmr its unbelivable i shoot all small game with it als coons and other furbearing animals shot a coon at 50 yrds knocked it dead out of the tree and no exit wound the round went in its neck and exploded inside its chest the fur had no blood on it and you could not find the entrance hole if you didnt know were it was
i herd some mixed things abou the 17 mach 2 think the hmr is better
