Aimed well,deer moved
I took my 1st shot ever at a deerwith a bow yesterday, as i released my arrow the deer was broadside then turned and ran as the arrow was on its way. Itlooked like the arrow was going to miss its mark, but the deer stumbled then ran off clumbsley so i know i hit but was not sure were. i let it be for 2 long hours then proceded to track(i had already found the bloody arrow)it took 3 hours on our hands andknees to track the first 75 yards then the blood trail was unmisstakable after that. we found the deer about 250 yards away from werei shot.
I was very fortunet that even though the arrow did not hit the vitals as i aimed, the arrow found the artery in the left rear leg after she turned running.
This is my 1st deer with a bow, it was alot of work but worth every minute of it!
