BBJ I have praised that gun several times on here. We have had one (270) at work for about a month now and I can't give it away. Despite my best efforts to convince most "clueless" otherwise, when a newbie or budget hunter comes in and asks about entry level guns it is the first one I pull off the rack. They of course typically end up with the 710s or 70/Simmons combos that I already have. I just can't convince them that for about the same money I can sell them a 200 with a ProStaff Nikon that is a MUCH better rig and being a Savage it will just flat out SHOOT the lights out of anything else.
I think the fugly appearance and the "cheap" feel of the stock is what turns most off. I know better, I have two Savages and wouldn't hesitate owning a 200 ifI needed another synthetic hunting gun (ok, so I really would rather have an Accu-trigger!

)
BBJ it sounds like you gotta keeper that is a REAL shooter!
