RE: new Easton arrows
On the Easton website, here are the specs listed for a regular XX75:
[ul][*]7075-T9 aluminum alloy[*]Strength (psi): 95,000[*]Weight tolerance: ± 1%[*]Straightness: ± .002" (.004" T.I.R.) [/ul] Here are the specs listed for the NexX75:
[ul][*]Straightness: ± .002" Guaranteed max.[*]7075-T9 aerospace alloy[*]Weight tolerance: ± 1%[*]Strength (psi): 95,000 [/ul] I really don't see what the difference would be, other than the HIT system. The alloy looks to me to be the same, with one tagged "aluminum ally" and the other tagged "aerospace alloy". The Nex picture on their website appears to show the regular unibushing/super nock.
How much are the Nex arrows? I would think it would be pretty hard to improve upon the tried and true.
