hard to imagine art being degrading to anyone. there are a lot of folks who show up this time of year and try to demand their respect by doling out terrible advice thinking its really good, and don't recognize there are some people here with comprehensive knowledge about bows, and tuning techniques they've just never heard of, and who will argue instead of listening. sometimes i want to degrade these people, but its just not worth it.
