RE: red dot vs. scope vs. open sights
lol i only have 37 year old eyes(but need bi/focals) but the area i hunt is very dense with most shots in the 60 to 70 yard range. i just find it easier to use my open sites... as for those red dots... imho they are not reliable but that is just my humble opinion
