It seemed like a very nice rifle. I'm no expert, basically having owned only one rifle in my life, a Winchester model 70. I'll take a second look at the Ruger. I'm interested in "upgrading" to a synthetic / stainless since the conditions I'm subjecting my gun to nowadays are pretty wet and grubby.
