MAN!!!!! I cant believe I got in late on this one.........another classic, Stubble and Bigcountry goin at it about recoil and "better suited cartriges" ! Anyway.......From what I've seen in testing my 300 RUM the H-1000 gives me great stable results, But Im pushing a 180 gr Accubond. I think I will stay with the bigger bullets considering any animal that I would actually use it on would be Bear/Elk size game. Besides, I can push my 180 gr to 3250 with a mid range powder charge (hopefully) extending barrel life.

p.s. hey stubble.....about your comment on people selling their RUM's, did you know Bigcountry got rid of his???? I think he should abstain from replying to 300 RUM threads since he doesnt even own one anymore!
