Hi. I just bought a tikka 30 06 stainless steel/composite stock. Its my first year hunting,and I've been trying alot of different rounds to see how they all compare. A guy told me that a barrel is only good for a few hundred rounds. If thats the case, I've already wasted half the life of the thing! I thought I would get some feedback from you guys. I'm heading out this weekend to try and take a deer from here in n. ca. (Hopefully it will be bigger than my lab)Thanks, Ron
