Well yes and no. My dad got me into hunting at a very early age but back then we mostly duck and dove hunted and then dog hunted for deer. So yes I am a better deer and turkey hunter than he was but mainly because he never did much of either. I never have been and never will be as good of a wing shot as he wasand Iam not nearly as good a waterfowl or quail hunter as he was. Also, he was an awesome fisherman which. Although, I have bass fished for the better part of the last 20 years and he hasn't fished at all, I have not become the fisherman that he justnaturally was. He was just born with an inate ability to find and catch fish of any species. I am now a pretty accomplished angler withseveral tournamnet victories under my belt etc. but I know that if my dad was still fishing that he wouldbeat me a lot more than I would beat him.
