I know you probably won't like this and most likely will disregard it anyway, but here goes. I think 400 gr arrow is plenty.I digress though. Gold tip arrows are absolutely the best bar none. they have a straightness quarantee of +/- .001". Carbons are the only way to go in my opinion. If you buy Gold Tip Pro Hunter 7595 you will have one hell of a tough, straight, and accurate arrow. they weight approx. 10 grains per inches. cut then at 30 inches = 300 gr. add approx. 45-50 gr for fletching and insert, add 125 grain broadhead. grand total of 475 gr. bump it up to 150 gr broadhead if you want (can't imagine why) and you are 500. Heres the bad part Gold Tips are expensive. about $125 a dozen but they are worth it in my eyes.
