I had 2 different farmers that didn't know each other tell me that deer didn't eat RR beans like the non-RR. I thought if this was true, then every farmer would be using them.
Deer will eat RR beans, they just seem to have a preference for regular beans. Later in the season when the pods dry, there is no preference difference. But theadvantages and yield increases of RR far out-weight the slight tastedifferences when green. You should always listen to what farmers can tell ya, but then try to understand what they mean.
Same is true for RR or BT corn to regular corn, it is just a slight decrease in preference. But once it dries there is no taste difference.
