Default RE: magical moment

ill tell this story here because someone might actually believe me.

When I was younger, about 14 or so my friend and I liked to see how close we coul get to deer for fun. we got very close a few times. There was one day I decided to do some early scouting. That day was one of the most exiing I have ever had. I was walking in the woods and came to a spot that had about 2 acres of nothing but oak trees that were surounded by and old rockwall. I had brought a small sandwich with me to mucnh on while I was scouting the area i was to hunt that coming season. It looked like rain that day so I had also brought a poncho with me just incase.

Well I decided to sit down on the ground in a corner ofthe old rockwall to eat my lunch. I had been sitting about 10min when it started to rain. I stood up to put my poncho on and realized it was a gray camo which matched the rockwall perfectly. I was like yeah that was planned lol so as I started to put it on I noticed movement about 150 yards away. I looked carefully and noticed about 7-10 deer slowly working towards me while eating acorns. I was like he this is cool so I sit in the corner of the rock wall andslowly finish my lunch as I wathed the deer. It started raining pretty heavy by now. I did not care though cause I was not getting wet and i was watching deer

well about 30 min had passed and they were all about 40-60 yards away from me still munching away. That is aobut the time I notice this spike coming my way. I watched him for about 10 more minutes before I realized he was about 10 yards away still mucnhing on acorns. He was still coming towards me though. I was like hmm ok he will see me or smell me in a second or two. Well 5 yards and counting he still has no idea im there. I had the hood of the poncho on and it was draped over me all the way to the ground. I had my head tilted down and my chin tucked inside the ponchoso all you could see was my nose. Well 2 yards ! and still counting he has no idea. Then I noticed that a small puddle has been created in my pocnh on the ground. It was were the poncho was just sitting over 2 small rocks and had sunk in the middle. Well to my surprise the deer comes up and actually drinks out of the small puddle that was created in my poncho!!!!!!!!!! I was like holy ****. I am surprised the deer could not hear my heartbeat the way it was pounding!!!!!!!!!!!! after a few seconds he just slowly walked away while still muching on acorns.

I have told only a few people that and nobody but my good hunting friend believed me. I just stoped telling it when I realized that everyone I told did not belieme...
