$1000 for your bow and gear isn't bad if you plan on keeping this one for 13 years like your last one. It isn't even $100 a year to have an awesome bow. I personally would get the Switchback and put some cheaper decent accessories on it to keep the cost down and upgrade the accessories in a few years as you get the money. You probably wont be happy with any other bow if you have your heart set on a Switchback.
