I had the Ruger No1-B in a 22-250. I found this rifle to be very heavy for a single shot but was nice to shoot. I was getting good groups for the short time I had it. This rifle was well made but was manufactured in 1977 so I’m not sure how it would compare to today's No 1. I did find I had a problem having to reach when looking thru the scope. I had gotten extended rings but it hadn’t solved the problem so instead of shortening the stock, I sold it. Would I get another one, YES but would get the scope to match the rifle.
