What blade do you use and what do you use to sharpen them?
I have a SOG SEAL PUP ( half straight/half serrated) and sharpen it with a "smiths" sharpening system, but am always looking for something better and easier.
I don't hardly use serrated blades. I've got a saw on my Leatherman if that's what I need.

On all other blades depending on how dull they are from dullest to the finishing touch I use the same progression.

File, fine file, stone, ceramic sticks, leather strap.

Most times all ti takes is a couple "hits" on the crock sticks and it's razor sharp, Buck knives, Leatherman, fillet knives, hatchet.
