....Walk, the walk.

It's one thing to talk it, but it's another thing to actually walk it. I passed up a nice 10 point tonight. He was a basic 8 point, 17" inside, nice dark antlers and matching split brow tines. I've got him on film from a few nights before season here opened. He's a nice 2.5 year old deer. Not quite what I'm looking for. I saw a beauty a few days ago. It's hard passing up deer like that, especially when it's not on your property and the chances of him actually surviving through the season are slim....but there's a chance...something that he wouldn't have if I would have taken him tonight.
