Your Encore is a great shooting rifle once you get used to it.

Do me a favor and try 120g loose 777 with a 265g Honaday .429 flat point and a mag express sabot and then tell me your gun can't hit the side of a barn.

That load is the best I have shot out of my Encore although I admit to not giving the Shockwave a good test.
