RE: Short axle bows.
notaveg, I have a BowTech Mighty Mite. 31 1/2". At 55#, 29" draw, and 375 gr arrow I get around 270 fps (it shot 304 at 60# at the factory). It's a very accurate, short bow. Very quiet with limb savers, cat whiskers, and BowTech's thing on the cable guard. It pulls easily and holds very well for a light, short bow. I tried all the hunting stabs and ended up with the 7 1/2" Vibracheck Isolator. The Infinity cam is adjustable for draw length and let off (65-80%).
I picked one up for my bro-law. He had it dressed up at a shop that sells a couple other major lines; their comment was "why don't we sell these bows?".
