Got him april 29, 2005, Went out the day before, 430. . . spooked one outta the roost , but i set up anyway. stayed in that spot till about 7, then after nothing gobbled, i decided to move. So i headed back into the woods, about 240 yards. I was yelpping as i went, and cutting. And suddenly a gobble. I quickly set in my hen decoy. and got behind a tree. He gobbled twice, and closing fast. Soon i could start seeing his head popping through the trees. i purred and clucked, he just hung up at 35 yards. Wondered off. that was aroudn 9. So the next day i planned on being in the woods at 7 this time. Well i ended up waking up at 7 [8D] So i headed out to about the same spot. And started cutting and yelping. I walked farther into the woods this time, another 100 yards. and i got one gobblin. this time i brough a hen and jake decoy. I got them in. set up. He was gobblin his head off. Soon sure enough there he come, full strut. He came in in strut. Then he must have noticed the jake decoy and he poked his head up. I let him have it at 30 yards!
