In our fall season we are allowed 2 birds with a shotgun. I have already killed both my birds. One was a 9 lb hen and then I shot this 13 lb hen. I didn't even take a pic of the smaller one. I still have an archery tag for a turkey left to fill.

Updated to add DTC 2 birds based on NWTF scoring calculator.
Really simple - if a hen weighs 10 lbs - it is 10 points. I always use the largest bird for each contestant but all birds taken does add to the Team's Total Score

I went deer hunting Sunday morning and ended up shooting this guy instead. I had 9 young toms wander by and was able to stand up, get my bow off of the hanger and draw without being noticed(thats a first for me), and had an 18 yd. shot. He didn't travel far and was still alive when I found him and had to shoot him again. The only camera I had was my cell phone and the pictures are kinda blurry. He weighed in at 18 lbs., had an 8" beard and a 5/8" left spur and a 3/4" right. NWTF score is 18+16+6.25+7.50= 47.75 for TEAM 4.
