Man, its been one tough season!!! There's way too many hens around and the gobblers have been extremely uncooperative. Still, I managed to score on a pretty nice bird on 5/20 after 20 straight mornings of hunting.Adding him to our total should raise us up a bit in the standings...





weight = 20 lb, 6 oz. He had no breast sponge left at all...probably woulda been pushing 23# a month ago



beard = 9 7/8" (longest strand)



Spurs = both 1.0"





SCORE = 20.375+9.875(X2)+1(X10)+1(X10) = 60.125

A few little momentos to go with the taking of this bird...







Still afternumber two. The bird that I'm currently chasing is a HOSS. I've got'til 5/31 totry to bushwhack him...
