I got one, have to make the story short have a report to write still tonight.Me and dad (aka hunting junkie).
Picked up a new spot and got some birds in close following a hen the first night.The next morning we watched them and where they went,to many hens around for them to come to us.Friday evening we watched them roost,and come in early Sat.and got close he flew down in our set up shot him 12 yards away.Only one bird in indiana,so i am tagged out.

Left and Right Spurs=7/8
Beard=9 inches
Weight=21 pounds
Score is 56.5

JW updated the contest scoreboard and we are in second place, 40 points out of first.

We need one more bird to put us over the top, but that bird had to come form someone who hasn't killed one yet.By my estimation the best chance for that is pinsapex7. I am pretty sure he is still hunting. Let's hope he brings one in.

well dang, i've missed a bunch.....congrats to y'all on your birds....sorry i haven't been around...but y'all have been in my thoughts if that counts
i see we're still kickin' some turkey butt....hopefully we'll be able to get back to first place but i'm sooooo proud of us for doing as well as we have that it really doesn't matter.
is anyone else huntin'? how much longer until it's over for everyone?

Good to have you back.
We're finished here in Tennessee. Peter (Doall hunter) and I had a great season with a lot of good moments of strutting, gobbling turkeys burned into our memories. We went every weekend and goton a gobbling bird every time but once (and that was primarily due to terrible weather).

Well two days left and 0 birds to show for it. Might have to put the bow up and get the shotgun out the last day. Birds seem to be gobbling in the morning and then see them with hens and they won't leave them at all even later in the morning still with them. This will be the first year in the last 8 years I haven't got a bird if I don't connect in the next two days. Well good luck team.
