Addicted
let me start by saying Im addicted. Im addicted to this way of life. Who else is Addicted. Im theArrowmaster and Im addicted No ifs and or butts. Who else has the addiction and tell us all how you feel. I love the rush a gobbler gives me when he answers my calls and I know he's coming. Once he's in range and I feel the thunder of his gobble. He soon feels the thunder I have waiting for him.

RE: Addicted
Can the word "addiction" even come close to describing what we are. Our lives completely change this time of year. We drive to work with a mouth call in to practice, we set our blinds up in our living rooms, we download turkey calls for our cellphone ringtone, our mp3 player plays Rhett Akins' Hung Up nonstop. if you have toask any of us what we are thinking about between now and the middle of May, you dont know us very well.

RE: Addicted
Of course I am. I'veonly been spendinga couple hours every day reading turkey hunting articles and posting on turkey hunting forums. Nothing beats the sound of a gobble on a quiet morning and the challenge of trying to call that big tom into gun range. As soon as it begins to warm up in spring, around this time, I get up extra early to go out in the morning and practice calling around my house, to see if I can strike up a gobble, since nobody hunts around me. While talking to other people I bring up turkey hunting as often as possible. When I'm driving around, I spend every possible moment scanning the fields looking for any signs of turkeys. Oh, and the biggest giveaway, the night before opening day, I spend the majority of the night looking at my clock.
