mouthcaller you are 100% right Your team is in the lead. So were the A's when there were 2 out and bases loaded and Kirk Gibson walked up all injured and hit a winning homerun..Impossible comeback. That is why we play the whole game out. That is why we count all the points and votes or whatever we do. Dewey beat Truman didn't the papere say that...they were wrong and when the whole thing is over we will win.

I had another one at 25-30 yards for doall Saturday morning. Gobbled his fool head off and weswitched position twice on him and finally got where he wanted to go. I was abiout 15-20 yards behindPeter calling and the turkey was coming straight from in front of him through some rough stuff (great situation). I knew the turkey would come up to Peter's left (it was really thick to the right) but I couldn't tell him unfortunately. Sure enough, the turkey started moving to our left. When he could see the bird he finally realized he didn't have his gun on him. Peter said the turkey was behind a tree when he moved the gun but the trees were small and all I saw was the turkey run his head up, looked straight at Peter, then he putted and ran off. Oh well -he'slearning. That's why it's called hunting.

When there is only one horse in the race of course your gonna win.I'm not speaking for the teams that have there season's in, that is between you and them.Although i would probably like to see your team win,for other reasons.No offense on the glasses regarding quality or money,i never knock nobody over that.By the way no feeling sorry for one of the rump brothers (aka fire) he and arrow are the whipping boy's around here.[8D]

Good I won't take a quarter or give a quarter- Wouldn't expect any less!!! I like the talk and the banter I am having a ball and I sure hope you are all too!! As far as doall that is a great lesson one he will never forget, but sometimes we learn better by losing a fight than by winning all them....winning is much more fun. I tell the guys here at the fire station we win more than we lose, but the losing hurts so much more.

Mouthcaller- here is the deal- Impossible comeback or victory in hand...doesn't matter a win is a win and if you can't put theopposition down when you have the chance...you shouldn't win anyway. We will win period.

As far as style mouthcaller I go with the Smith and Wesson blue blocker lensed safety glasses- $8.00 and will stop a 22 they tell me....I am in no hurry to test that therory!

You may be interested in knowing that I worked for several years in the Firefighters Regional Burn Center in Memphis. I am a clinical pharmacist by training and played a role in the medical management of our burn victims. That was a veryspecial time for me, both personally and professionally. It was rewarding to see people with major burns survive and leave the facility to go hometo their families because not many years ago they would not have been able to survive their injuries without the sophisticated care provided in a dedicated burn center. Very dedicated people work there and theytake their job very seriously. It was humbling to be a part of that.

I got to know the firefighters and, believe me, I have the utmost respect for them and the job they do.
