Just letting you guys know that Team 21, The Last Gobble, has jumped out to a commanding lead with 3 birds (still waiting on the score for one of them) including the highest scoring turkey taken so far in the contest. That bird scored 65 points and was taken by my son, a 13-year old kid, yesterday.

No other team has more than one turkey. Most haven't even killed the first one. LOL

Based on factual, objective results (not cheap trashtalk)it appears that Team 21 just may run away with this thing.

you may think that mouthcaller but what you dont know is that i know of one team that one hunter has already killed two birds by himself.

Uh, what you apparently don't know mohunter is thateach teammember can only enter one bird in this contest so I don't really care if he kills 20 turkeys he can't check but one of them. I killed three last year and none of them were as good as the turkey my son (doall hunter) took yesterday afternoon so I wish thisguy a lot of luck.

To win this thing you need everybody on the team contributing a turkey, ONE TURKEY PER TEAM MEMBER. Total score wins.

The team that has the most members that score a turkey will most likelywin unless there is more than one team that has a 100% success rate then the quality of the birds will figure in. The wildcard in this is multiple-bearded turkeys that have inflated scores or having an excess of jakes scored rather than mature turkeys.
