hi guys,dog killer checking in. i'll be hunting indiana.our season starts in late APRIL so it will be awhile before i get to hunt.you can count on a high scoring bird from me!
any ideas for a team name or captain ?

SteveO, that was a good one about the pics of your other birds being too big to put up! I can tell we are going to get along fine.
Treebeard, don't worry about being new to the sport. The best turkey hunters I know are still learners. The hunters who think they know everything are the ones that crack me up. Welcom aboard.
Pat_Ely, thanks for the encouragement about getting my son into the sport. We will be safe and have a great time. What about you as captain...? You are a moderator and have much experience here and on the field...right?
Dogkiller, I like the name Jellyheads, just because that's the choke I use. I also think butterball is amusing. We could be the 14th Legion out of respect to Tom Kelley's "The Tenth Legion." (I highly recommend reading the book, it is great.)
My season starts March 16th. I am taking my son for the youth hunt the weekend prior. I hope to have some pics for you soon.

krabbiepatty here....i have to go to work now but i will find some recent pics and post ASAP. I will be hunting in NC and possibly SC this year. Looking fwd to it. I hope to have a good bird on the ground for the team.

I am attaching some pics of the birds I have killed ... this one is opening day of last season. me on left my dad in middle and our friend on the end. I like the name jellyheads because that is my choke of choice also...and i vote for pat ely for team capt. thanks,
