RE: Team 6 - "Gobble Stoppers"
Went out yesterday morning and there was not much gobbling on the roost and even less once they hit the ground. I had 10 hens come in to about 25 yards and they were the only ones that i saw.

K this bird weight was 21lb 4oz, beard was 9 1/2 inches, spurs one was 1 1/8 and one was 1. It was kind of a family thing my father, sister and uncle where hunting one side of the road and me and my cousin were hunting the other. Me and my cousin were setting up just as it was getting light and we could see the turkeys. After getting the decoys up the birds started to fly down. Calling took place and before I knew it we had a little Jake show and not this Tom but different one was in the back. That Jake either saw me or my cusion move and left scaring all the others off too. Well okay during all that across the road we had heard my dad and sister shoot so once the turkeys were gone we headed that way. Pulled up and sure enough two dead turkeys so while standing there we heard more gobbling over the hill so. Me my cousin and uncle take off to see if I could get one. We got to the top of the hill and saw nothing but these 4 Toms and 2 Hens in the field. We snuck behind a line of 8 hay bells and started to call. They came running in like there was fire behind them. My uncle grabed my decoy and and set it up while my cousin was calling. Before we know it we got 4 Toms coming up this road on the hill and I took this one.
