I got the camera out yesterday and hope to have some big Hoosier toms on the cam next week. I am hearing reports of gobbles and strutting, but I haven't heard or seen them doing that...just birds. I saw 2 hens yesterday at near the farm I hunt and deer galore 4 in the pasture I will be hunting hard.

I just checked the extended forecast and for next Sunday,when I'm going out, and it is going to be low of 34, high of 58 and partly sunny. No wind report yet. If it stays like that it'll be a perfect day!!

I saw some strutters tonight. Its just too bad I didnt see them on the property Im hunting. But tonight we saw 34 turkeys all together. I did see a group of Jakes about 1/4 mile from one of the propertys. I posted it in the smack talk thread. Mottz it sounds like it gonna be good for you...:)

Well, they already changed the forecast. From upper 50's this weekend to mid 40's with a chance of rain/snow mix. How can meteorologists be wrong so much of the time and not get fired? Guess I'll wait til the end of the week to check it again. It'll probably change.

It is the only job where you can lie, be incorrect, vague and wrong all in the same sentence and still keep your job....wait politicians can also[:'(]
As we say in the Hoosier state wait 15 minutes if you don't like the weather it'll change.....I love spring!

Our season opens this Saturday. Hopefully I can put some points on the board for us.

Season here opens up Wednesday but I can't get out til Sunday. Looks like it's up to you DD to get it started.
