well boyz sad to say my 2 day hunt was unsuccessful. i dealt with nasty weather monday and today..t-storms and rain. both days i heard no gobbles at all, but i did call in 1 hen and seen 2 more hens about 100 yds away on a ridge top. there wasnt a lot of talking in my neck of the woods. i will be out in a couple of weeks though...congrats to the rest of u guys who got birds way to go!

Don't be to hard on yourself reds10ss, alot of turkey hunters have days like that.
Just keep trying if your season isn't over yet, were in forth place in table #1 and fifth place in table #2 of the current standings.
Thats with only three birds on the score card , if the remianingseven team matesadd some nice scores , we have real strong chance of winning.

Well guys, I am going tomake my move onthe quad beard. I have watched him for 3 nights, I know where he struts in the evenings andhe takes the exact same route with some hens in the evenings back to the roost. I am going to sit quietly in route to his roost and wait for him to walk by, hopefully hes doing the same thing! I am going out friday night, I will let you know how it goes!

Yea ... good luck to ya buddy, I hope you get that four bearded bird too.
My hunt starts this coming Monday so I may notbe online much next week unless I score on my first day.

Yea ... we might get a little wet but it will clear up in a couple of days, just remember the birds will head to any open field near by when it's raining.
I might have to change my blind set-up next to a medow or field on the first two days but Wednsday, I'll be back in the woods between thier roosting tree and a near by pond of standing water.
