RE: Team #12 Thread
I am in Georgia and we get at it on March 21st. I deer hunt with a bow but I have never gotten the itch to shoot a turkey with it. I like to use my 870 express and shoot em in the face. I like the name and cannot wait to see what avatar we decide on. Sorry I have not been on here much butI have an8 month old and I spend all my time with her.

Team #12,
Rogerstv finally checking in. I have changed jobs in the recent weeks and haven't made time for the website. My old job was boring and monotonous so I visitedhuntingnet.comfrequently. I am now swamped and won't be much of a contributing factor to the B.S. sessions.
I willbe hunting private land in south central Illinois. I have two tags. I am not sure of the exact date for the start of the season. It will be aMonday near the second full week of April. One tag is a landowner tag, which allows me to hunt all five "seasons"of the Illinois season. The other is a fourth "season" tag. Therefore, you won't see me in a big hurry to bag a bird unless it is a mature tom.
Good luck to all onTeam #12. I will check in every now and again and will definitely post my score along with pics once I kill something.

Great ... glad to have you join us rogerstv, better late than never when it comes to checking in.
I almost thought I would have to put a request in to replace you, but no need for that now.
Now that we have a full team , a captain and a name will see what we can come up with for our avatar.

Michigan - anywhere around Big Rapids?
I have a cousin whose 80 borders some state land. I can ask him as I saw many birds - a flock fo 19 Toms this past deer season.
The property is west on 19 mile rd which is NW of big rapids.
And if ya heard of Brower County Park west of Hwy 131 out of Stanwood - Well that is my Great Granddaddies Farm!
