I am not sure if i am going to make it out again this season. My dad has been admitted to the hospital, and the doctors fear he may have lung cancer... Im sorry guys, but this will stop me from going hunting, i need to take care of family...
Prayers on the way for your dad!!! Hope he gets well soon!

the Docs told my mom today that "they want the tests to be 100% sure, but they are almost 100% sure" That he has both lung and colon cancer... Thank you all for understanding, and for your prayers

Chin-up buddy! Kept in our prayers as well. Positive metal attitude goes a long way with illness.
Take care, and God Bless!

I have been watching a tom, 4 jakes, and a bearded hen in my wheat field less than 300 yards from my house all week. My wife has not hunted with me since 2002 and says that she wants to try and kill one of them. She is on her way to buy her tag and we are going on a "date" in the morning.

Sorry I didnt' get back sooner. Yes she killed a bearded hen with a 9 inch beard. She wouldn't let me put her picture on here. We are going back out again this weekend.
