Here are the team names that we have come up with so far

1. Team Turkey Slayer
2. Team Smoking Shell
3. Team Cut n Strut
4. Team Gobble Stoppers
5. Team Beard Collectors
6. Team Tagout
7. The Holy Grail of Beards
8. Team Beard Busters
9. Team Full Strut

I don't know if you guys want the "Team" on the front of the name or not. My pick would be either 3, 4, or 8. Let's hear all of your picks.

Ok so now that we have a list we can only pick 1 name we like...
But there are so many good names to pick from...

I think that my official vote will be number 3...


In addition to coming up with a team name we should begin looking at picking a team captain...
Since this is my first year I do not want to be a captain due to lack of experience... I am more than willing to work with whoever is Captain to learn the ropes!
I think that a member who has been involved in a few contests whether it be a turkey contest or any other contest that is run in a similar way should lead us... So if anyone wants to volunteer great... If not then we should put a little profile up about ourselves...
If there is one of our team members has been a captain let him come forth and lead once again...
Thats my 2 cents for team captain...

I do not know if anyone has taken the time to get in touch with the member who have yet to check in but I did send messages to the members who have not checked in yet... if some of our other teammates have already done so then good... it will serve as a 2nd notice! I think that whoever gets elected as team captain can make a final notification and then we can proceed from there...

I agree with kpatte26 that somebody with experience should probobly be a team captain. This is my rookie season also, so I would rather let somebody who knows the ropes be a captain. If anybody would like to have this role, let us know.

Well after doing some digging around it seems that jrbsr has some experience with this type of thing so... I will be the first to nominate him as the Team Captain! As I said before I am more than willing to have you show me how this runs so I can do it in the future!
