Hi guys,
Joe with a bow...zippo! I just finished a hard week of hunting. I got fogged (and sleeted too) one day on the eastern side of Mauna Kea, and Sunday am some guys took rifles (for feral sheep) into the archery area where I was hunting....bang X 5, and the whole hillside shutdown and the three gobblers I could hear shutup and bugged out. Even the guides on Parker Ranch had a hard time getting clients on birds.
Go get'em!

Hey guys, got a question. What is your solution to a turkey that continually hangs up just out of range and will not come any closer. Thee is nothing preventing him from getting closer, i.e.. fences or creeks. He is a tough old bird. I have tried excited calling, have tried shuting up, have tried decoys. Cannot move back and away from the bird to give him a feeling of I'm leaving. Any ideas?
