I usually set up on field edges in the rain. Birds will usually move out of the trees into the open.

hyco, I don't understand about your timing for the season. Season starts this coming weekend 21st March in Central Florida.Whatregion have you been hunting?

alabama. i live on the state line so i buy both florida and alabama lic. its actually closer for me to hunt in alabama than at my lease in florida.the roads are really bad. 3 days of rain. the creeks are way up. i couldn't get to far off the pavement. i did hear 2 birds that i didn't know were there so i'm going to try to be in a better position in the morning............tony

I didn't see anything last night. Drove by the spot early this morning right at first light. Heard a few yelps and a couple gobbles so I know they are there. Got the new Switchback up and running so its on!
