Season ends tomorrow. I have only seen hens during my hunts before and after work. I'm taking my 6 year old twins with me tomorrow and we are going to make a day of it; hunting and fishing. Should be fun. Hopefully the toms will cooperate. Chance of storms though. If no lightning we will sit in the fields and hope the turkeys come out.

Congrats NYhunter325!! Well, I struck out. My season ended Saturday. I took my twin 6 year olds with me for a weekend with Daddy and we had a good time fishing and hunting. Unfortunately we ended the season like much of the rest of the season - only seeing hens. But it was cool since this was their first hunt and the first time they've seen turkey. Looks like we're getting trounced.

Well Talondale i had this bird and two other ones follow the hen right into me and i had to convince the hen to come into me and thats how i played my season because in new york i think the birds bred early and im pretty sure of it cause the hens were on the nests til like 9 or 10 in the morning so i think it was kinda luck but like my buddy says there is always next season to try and do what you didnt do this season.
