  • One Pheasant -Quartered
    One Can of Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup
    1/2 cup of Apple Cider
    1 Tablespoon & 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire Sauce
    3/4 teaspoon Salt
    1/3 cup of chopped onions
    one clove of garlic (minced)
    Fresh Mushrooms


  1. Heat Oven to 350 degrees
    Place pheasant in ungreased baking dish
    Mix Soup, cider, salt, and other ingredients
    Pour mixture over Pheasant
    Sprinlke generously with paprika
    Place in Oven and bake uncoverd for 1 to1 1/4 hours
    Occassionally baste the bird
    Remove from oven and sprinkle with Paprika


A co-worker gave me this recipe and told me it was the World's Best Pheasant Recipe. You be the judge, I like it alot since it virtually cuts out all gamey taste. Can subsitute a chicken if you missed your targets that day.
