Lodge

-Limited to 12 hunters (each
hunter will be paired with an able-bodied turkey hunter)

Hunt #2 -
It might still be wintertime outside, but plans are already underway for
the 2009-2010 archery season. Our goal is to provide even more opportunities for
disabled archers to experience the up close and personal, heart pounding,
adrenalin pumping in-your-face thrill of the chase!
This year we will expand from 6 hunts last year to 11 hunts. The biggest
difference is that instead of doing six hunts on six Saturdays, we will be doing
3 different hunts at 3 different locations on the same day. Specific hunt
locations will be disclosed once participants are chosen.
- Round One: September 26th will see the first three hunts, locations will
be disclosed to the winning participants (antlerless deer only).
- Round Two: October 10th will be the date for the next three hunts
(antlered or antlerless deer).
- Round Three: October 24th will be the date for these three hunts
(antlered or antlerless deer).
-Grand Prize: On October 11th, two lucky hunters will participate in an
all-expense paid Sunday hunt on a 300-acre Ohio farm, complete with food plots.
This hunt is made possible by Ken Snarey, with WMA picking up the license
fees.
WMA will also provide a field lunch for all hunters, and crossbows will be
available for the hunters to use.
Just as he did last year, KIPS processing in Carnegie will provide a
special rate for any deer processing that the disabled hunters want.
