HuntingNet is pleased to announce our new and upcoming Community Events...and you're invited! Join us for fun and food at our 1st Annual HuntingNet Archery Shoot and Pig Roast. We'll be hosting a fun 3D and Novelty shoot here in Northern Illinois in August 2005. It's a great chance to meet with your friends from the HuntingNet boards, shoot a bunch of arrows and have a good time. There will be raffles, food and we'll have special targets set up for the kids. Bring the whole family! Get ready to mark your calenders... we'll have more details soon. (A portion of the proceeds of this event will go to the Benefit4Kids Outdoor Wishes Program. )

The HuntingNet 2005 Antelope Hunt September 4th - September 9th:

Table Mountain Outfitters in Wyoming will be the host location of the HuntingNet Group Antelope Hunt. It's a guided antelope hunt, 5 days, including all food and lodging in an outfitter-wall tent for the week, plus a guide and full care of your animal once it's been harvested. Table Mountain has archery success rates of 90-100% and many of their animals are P&Y class.

Generous NWTF Contribution to USSA Helps Keep Sportsmen in the Field

The National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF), a longtime supporter of conservation issues and sportsmen’s rights, has again stood up to defend America’s hunting heritage with a $100,000 contribution to the U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance. “The National Wild Turkey Federation understands that hunting, fishing and trapping are in a perilous state,” said Rick Story, U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance senior vice president. “NWTF chapters, volunteers and staff recognize the threat that anti-hunting groups pose as they bolster their financial resources and prepare for multiple attacks against sportsmen across the country.” The check presentation was made during the 2005 National Wild Turkey Federation Convention and Sport Show in Nashville, Tennessee.
