 The birds are singing, the trees are flowering and the days are getting longer. Spring is here! What does this mean? Allergy season is here and you have to mow the lawn.

The birds are singing, the trees are flowering and the days are getting longer.
Spring is here! Of course the warmer days do not mean it’s the ‘off-season’ for the avid outdoorsperson. There’s turkey hunting, mushrooms, bowfishing and now is the time to start working on the food plots you’ll be hunting over this fall. Like most things in life, the effort to put into your foodplot now will have a big factor in how it turns out later. Testing and improving the soil is an important part of a successful foodplot. Don’t be afraid to send in soil samples to be analyzed and make the necessary corrections. When those big bucks are coming in to your foodplot, you’ll be glad you took the time to do it right.
