Anyone get a turkey yet?

I got a Jake a week ago. It had three beards and it was 18 lbs. Any one else got one?

yep i got one the first day of first season here in illinois weighed 25 lbs. 10 inch beard and 1 1/4 inch spurs.

not yet, haven't been out, going out some time this week, hopefully i can get my mom to let me skip some school to get out there and hunt.

21 pounds, 10 inch beard, 1 1/8th inch spurs.

I killed two last week. Both in Washington.

First one was a Merriam. 20 lbs. 8 oz., 9 inch beard and 7/8 inch spurs. Second one was a Rio. 18 lbs., 8 1/2 inch beard, and 15/16 inch spurs.

there are a bunch of turkeys in my hunting spot but the rain and snow and all this weather is messing them up. I did get 5 feet from a hen. But ya cant shoot hens! I still have till the 22 to hunt. I guess May 1st thru the 22nd is the best time to hunt. So maybe things will pick up.
