My parents bought me a remington for Christmas and i was just curious
to see what all you guys shoot. My dad recomended to shoot Lightfield
slugs and so that is what i bought. But a may try something else.He
shoots them out of his 11-87 and they suit him just well and hopefully the same for me.
I love Light Fields It toke FOREVER to find them tho for a while Cabelas didnt have them, Bass Pro only has 12,
They Built a Super Gander Mountian By Me and THe have every Slug you can think of..I think.

Nothing like hearing that gobbler break the crisp morning air.
Lightfields seem to cause much fouling in the barrel due to their ultra high velocities and that plastic sabot. My suggestion would be the Remington CopperSolids or CoreLokt Ultra or Winchester Platinum tip. used the copper solids to down a 140 class buck last year outta my 870.
Keep in mind your firing a chunk of lead the size of my thumb through that deer. If your using sabots than they aren't as big but still are probably well over 300 gr. Dead is dead, shot whatever slugs fire the best out of your gun.
