Default Whitetail down Nov.5/11

I spent the morning on Nov. 5 in my ground blind. I got set up early and at around 9am or so, a deer ran through the trees in front of the blind. Not sure what spooked it, but it was flagging and running from something. I could see the deer in my crosshairs, but the bush was too thick for a shot. About 5 seconds later, another whitetail came running through the same spot. I held the crosshairs in an opening between 2 trees and luckily for me, she stopped right in my crosshairs. I took a 100 yard shot with the .270 Win and watched the two deer run along a ridge. After waiting for a couple minutes, I found the blood trail and followed it for approximately 75 yards.

She looks nice and plump. Best deer I ever ate was a whitetail doe.
